SUMMARY:Introduction to P&E Skills Course
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to offer another run of our popular\, accredited course for anyone who is interested in supporting people in their community or joining our practical and emotional supporter team. Participants gain a Level 2 qualification in Information\, Advice and Guidance\, which covers core skills useful in work or life – listening skills\, building on strengths\, setting boundaries\, safeguarding\, building support networks\, recognising diversity and supporting others in making progress towards personal goals. The course starts on Tuesday 3rd March for six weeks\, with each session available in the daytime from 1-2.30pm\, then repeated from 6 – 7.30pm. Both sessions are delivered online but there is the option of attending in person for the daytime run at Druridge Bay Community Centre\, Hadston. \n  \nWe are running two online information sessions for anyone interested in finding out more before registering\, on Tues 24th Feb from 1-2\, and again 6-7.
