SUMMARY:My Best Me Part 1 - Building Self Esteem and Knowing Your Worth
DESCRIPTION:A practical exploration of self esteem\, exploring what it is\, where it comes from and what contributes to change. \n\n\n\n\nSelf-esteem and knowing our worth aren’t about what we have\, or what we can do. They’re about how we feel about ourselves – whether we like and value who we are and the way we live our lives. They’re not fixed – they will fluctuate throughout our lifetime. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn what self-esteem is (and what it isn’t)\, and where it comes from. We’ll debunk some myths and discuss factors that can contribute to changes\, for better or for worse\, as well as sharing thoughts and ideas about recognising and celebrating our own worth and value. The workshop will be a safe space where we can Take Up Space and Make Some Noise! \nThis is a women only event. \nRegister on Eventbrite here

SUMMARY:Mindful Monday
DESCRIPTION:Karen has joined the Women’s Workshop team\, starting a new programme of relaxed\, supportive sessions designed to gently introduce breathwork as a practical tool for mental wellbeing. Each session invites you to slow down\, tune in\, and explore your inner world in a way that builds confidence\, emotional resilience\, and self-awareness — no experience needed\, just curiosity. \nFrom 11 – 12 you are welcome to come along for a cuppa and a catch up with other women. \nFrom 12-1 there will be an organised activity. Breathwork will be used in a simple\, accessible way to help calm the nervous system\, improve focus\, and create space to notice what’s really going on beneath the surface. Each session includes time for integration\, with guided journaling prompts to help make sense of what comes up. If writing isn’t your thing\, you’re very welcome to bring your own art materials and express your reflections visually instead. \nBreathwork will be used in a simple\, accessible way to help calm the nervous system\, improve focus\, and create space to notice what’s really going on beneath the surface.
