World Menopause Day is 18 October and to celebrate the day and raise awareness about menopause, Newcastle University and the National Innovation Centre for Ageing are organising a seminar on the topic, at the end of which a pop-up choir will sing an original song written by the brilliant Bethany Elen. We are now looking for women to join the choir which will perform the song at midday outside the Catalyst Building which is just behind the Sandman Hotel. All singers will receive the lyrics in advance, together with some sound recordings to give you a sense of the music and harmonies/melodies. Please note that you do not need to be able to sing nor expected to memorise the words 😊 The only rehearsal will be on the day, 10am-12 midday in the Catalyst Building.
