Jenny is sharing some great ideas for using simple drawing to help us see and appreciate what’s around us…

“Outside in Nature, the spring carries on regardless of our lock down. But nature can still bring us benefits in the new life it offers. Next time you take your daily walk outside you could  bring some offering of nature indoors; it might be a leaf, a sprig of blossom or a primrose.

All you need is a pencil and a piece of paper. Here are the steps I took today. It is more about looking at the blossom/twig/leaf than your pencil moving across the paper. It is a lovely way to focus in on what you are looking at. There is no one judging you so try to tune in to Nature’s handiwork!

If you can do the same for three days in a row, this connection will be quite inspiring! You could also try using your non dominant hand to draw , it can be quite surprising!

You may wish to add some colour with coloured pencils.
