Empowering Women in Crisis and Beyond
Do you support women, or refer them to other services for support? Are you a woman who has been referred to one or more services?
Women’s Workshop is working with Newcastle University and Tyneside Women’s Health to explore how to make services work well for women, and to look at reducing the gaps they can fall through when navigating between health, mental health, work, training, housing, transport, family, care. We would like to invite you to take part in this practical interactive research project, where we will be using real life case studies and scenarios to start the process of joining things up and working effectively together. The free workshop for Northumberland participants will take place from 10.30 to 1.30pm on Tuesday 16th September at Fourways 2, Dilston Terrace, Amble NE65 0DT, with a light lunch provided. Please pass on through your networks, both to change leaders and professionals in mainstream, private and VCSE services , sign-posters, connectors and social prescribers, and also directly to women with experience of using services.
You can find out about the full research project and register for the Amble workshop on 16th September, via the QR code on the attached flier or here – https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/G8U6Ydx2Fm
The project is part – funded by Newcastle University’s Pulse Review funds, and also by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with the North East Combined Authority as the Lead Authority.
