‘The tragedy of anyone’s life is never what happens but what fails to happen.’

This new comedy play asks the audience to follow the journey of ‘the old tin bath shop’ in a Lancashire town. Witness the strong women who galvanised the community and how we might join the crusade to make our hometowns and our stories better. You’ll leave with a sense of civic pride and renewed social responsibility.

Inspired by the works of Ethel Carnie Holdsworth and set against the backdrop of a Lancashire Mill town, Miss Nobodies uses storytelling, humour and music to discover what holds us together and what breaks us apart.

Women’s Workshop has ten free tickets for this performance to give away, and will organise transport and a pre-theatre drink.
