Five Ways to Wellbeing – Take Notice
Taking notice (or being mindful) is all about paying attention to the present moment. This is a hard pathway to follow when we are all so confused and upset but practicing mindfulness can help with our mental wellbeing and keep us focussed on the positives.
How can we do this?
Evidence proves that being aware of what is taking place in the present directly enhances your well-being, can improve your priorities and allows you to make positive choices based on your own values and motivations.
Remind yourself to ‘take notice’ at least once a week to strengthen your own self-awareness. Set some time aside the do this so it becomes part of your weekly routine.
Take some time to enjoy the ‘moment’ and the environment around you even if it is your own back garden or your living room!
