Carole, who is employed by Rape Crisis Tyne & Wear and Northumberland (RCTN) as the Independent Sexual Violence Adviser for rural areas, will be joining us to explain her role. She is keen to work closely with the Women’s Workshop and is exploring her service being hosted from our base at the Dovecote Centre on a once a month basis, to provide an opportunity for networking, informal drop-in, appointments etc. Come along to find out more and share your views.

We will also be taking a first look at the Ask Me project, provising a short training course aimed at giving women the tools to support other women facing violence and abuse.

This session will also give us the opportunity to let you know about further plans we have to mark the 16 days of activism against Violence against Women, starting with a special event at the Dovecote Centre on 29th November with Workie Ticket Theatre Company.
