Autumn into Winter – Sticks and Stones

As winter approaches, we will be thinking about what to take into the dark part of the year using sticks and stones to help us record memories, thoughts and intentions by wrapping and binding bundles. Bring some favourite twigs and stones if you have any. Other materials provided

This practical workshop will be an opportunity to have a go at creating a personal charm, amulet or talisman using sticks and / or stones. Bundles of sticks could be from a favourite tree, or a collection of trees in the lunar calendar we have been exploring over the year.

Anna will bring a collection of sticks and stones to work with, but feel free to bring your own, as well as any coloured string, wool or ribbon. Stones with holes or sharp edges are easier to wrap, and the same goes for bundles of straight(ish), flexible sticks.
