Julia will be introducing a new project about a big issue that many women have faced during the last year – poverty.

We have been invited to go to a conference all about this in Newcastle in September, and we will be looking at creative ways to put over our views to people who could make things fairer for women. On Monday we have a visitor from Gateshead, Lucy Zwolinska, Co-ordinator of Gateshead Poverty Truth Commission, a community project involving local people (more info at https://povertytruthnetwork.wordpress.com/).

After that we will be planning some trips to other projects during July, and working on what we want to say at the big conference in the autumn.
