Be Active – Bird Boxes
Now this is not a project for the faint-hearted. If anyone gives it a try we would love to hear from you! If you lack the tools, wood or confidence this year, never mind, next spring we will be supporting womne in making these or simpler versions at the Workshop.
Now is the time that birds are nesting, and these bird box designs have been put together by the local Coastal Care project to encourage these species to nest nearby. You may enjoy just looking at the designs and seeing how different species have different nesting needs. You might just look out for some of these species when you out on your daily walk too, and share any photos you can take.
